Terms of service

Last updated 20 October 2026

These terms apply when you use thefinancelink.com (“The Finance Link”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. Questions: hello@thefinancelink.com.

1. What we offer

2. Job listings come from employers

We are not a recruiter or employment agency and are not affiliated with the employers listed. Listings are copied from their sites and may be incomplete, out of date or filled. Always check the role on the employer’s site before applying. Employer names and logos belong to their owners.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16, give accurate details and keep your password private. An account is for one person. You can delete it at any time from your account page.

4. Plans and payment

The Standard plan is free. Plus and Pro are monthly subscriptions at the prices shown on our pricing page and at checkout, in your local currency and including any taxes due in your country.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

A subscription renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you won’t be charged again. If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

5. Refunds

See our refund policy: a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a plan.

6. Fair use

The Finance Link is for your personal job search. Please don’t copy or scrape the site, resell or share our interview materials, share your login, or upload anyone else’s personal data without their permission. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Content

Our interview materials, texts and design are ours and are licensed to you for personal use. Your CV and tracker entries remain yours; you allow us to read and store them only to provide the service. CV feedback is our honest opinion and does not guarantee any interview or offer.

8. The service

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and features may change. We are not responsible for employers’ hiring decisions or for the content of their sites.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost opportunities or earnings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or on the site before it applies.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protections of the law of your country.
